Livius (Titus) Ex XIIII decadibus historiae romanae ab urbe condita, decades, prima, tertia, quarta, & quinta dimidium, 2 parts in 1, woodcut historiated and decorative initials of various sizes, gg6 blank, title with obliterated ink ownership inscriptions, b5-8 some ink staining, C1&2 neat cuts to lower margin, part 2 ã3 large but neat tear within text, without loss, some marginal water-staining, occasional spotting or mostly light staining, lightly browned, 17th century blind-ruled calf, gilt (restored small centre- and corner-pieces), sympathetically rebacked (spine in compartments), corners restored, some staining, rubbed and marked, [cf. Adams L1334], folio, Paris, [Michel de Vascosan for] Oudin Petit, 1543 [privilege dated November, 1542].

⁂ Provenance: Claudius a Jaillon, Seqvani, 1550 (ink inscription to front pastedown, title, and end of both parts); Library of the Château de Suaucourt (20th century pictorial bookplate to front pastedown).
