Costume.- Tönsberg (Nils Chrstian) Udvalgte Norkse Nationaldragter, [second edition], text in Danish, German and English, chromolithographed title and 15 plates, 8pp. music at end, tissue-guards, some light foxing, mostly to text, occasional very light marginal finger-soiling, contemporary red half morocco, gilt, "Costumes of Norway" in gilt to upper cover, very slight fading to fore-edge, rubbed at joints and edges, g.e., Christiania, 1861 § Bridgens (Richard) Illustrations of the Manners and Costumes of France, Switzerland and Italy, additional engraved title and 47 plates only (of 49), mostly aquatint, all hand-coloured, one folding, title with ink ownership inscription to head, ex-library copy with usual bookplates and markings, including ink-stamp to verso of each plate, a few small marginal chips, a few short tears and tape repairs to verso, folding plate torn without loss and with ink-stamp to lower margin, some light spotting and browning, mainly to text, some soiling and staining, particularly towards end, modern library cloth, 1835; and others, a single volume of the Paquet brothers' Modes et Costumes Historiques, and c.60 disbound hand-coloured plates from a work on Russian costume, 4to & 8vo (c.63)
