Pankhurst (Sylvia, suffragette, political activist, writer, and artist, 1882-1960) Autograph Letter signed "Sylvia" to Clara [?Giveen], 3½pp., sm. 4to, West Dene, Charteris Road, Woodford Green, Essex, [c. 1930's], on a variety of subjects, including being asked to speak at a Mother's Society meeting, but not sure who would look after her son Richard in her absence and asking Clara to take her book out of the library and other local libraries, "I fear for the sales and that the publisher may avoid such books in future", and reporting on the death of her friend's husband Mr Payn, folds.
