Osborne (John) Look Back in Anger, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author "To Dr. [Philip] Murray" to title, browning to endpapers, original cloth, dust-jacket, light toning, spine end and corners a little chipped, a few short nicks or tears to head and foot, but an excellent example overall, 8vo, 1957.
⁂ Scarce signed. The promotion of the play Look Back in Anger by the press officer at the Royal Court Theatre would lead to the popularisation of the term Angry Young Men to describe the generation of British authors to whom Osborne belonged.
