Wilde (Oscar) The Importance of Being Earnest, first trade edition, unnumbered copy from an edition limited to 1,000, light browning to endpapers, some light scattered spotting to title and half-title but very clean generally, original lilac cloth, gilt, designed by Charles Shannon, uncut and unopened, light toning to spine, tips of spine a little bumped, light foxing and surface soiling to covers, but an excellent example overall, [Mason 381], small 4to, Leonard Smithers & Co., 1899.
