Bailey (David) David Bailey's Box of Pin-Ups, 36 halftone photographic prints, each with biographical notices to verso, loose as issued between original cardboard pieces stamped "Packing pieces to be thrown away" and sheet of brown paper, the contents bright and fresh, in original drop-back box with photographic illustrations to covers, (Foyles book-label to inside of upper cover, box rubbed and lightly spotted with some chipping to extremities of cover labels but very good generally), 4to, 1965.

⁂ Only issue of Bailey's iconic collection of 1960s portraits with an excellent provenance. This copy came from the family of Sue Murray, 60s model and subject of two of the portraits in the collection, purchased by the family at Foyles. A letter of provenance is included with the lot.
