Browne, light offsetting, occasional foxing or marginal toning to plates, light damp-stain to frontispiece and title, original variant cloth, recased, fading to spine, repairs to spine ends, light mottling and fading to covers, [Eckel pp.79-81; Smith I, 19], 8vo, Bradbury and Evans, 1853.
⁂ A rare cloth variant with "MDCCCLIII" in gilt to foot of spine. Smith states seeing only one copy with this lettering which was lacking the half-title.
