Mathematics.- Newton (Sir Isaac) Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, 2 parts in 1, first part title in red and black and with engraved device, second part title with woodcut device, 3 folding engraved plates, numerous diagrams in text, woodcut head- and tail-pieces and decorative initials, some water-staining to first part, both parts occasional spotting and lightly browned, contemporary calf, sympathetically rebacked, corners repaired, covers rubbed and scuffed and with some staining, [Wallis 12; cf. Babson 207 (1711 edition of Analysis)], 4to, Amsterdam, for the Companies, 1723.
