Etching, 1636, a very good impression of New Hollstein's first state (of 3), before any later re-work, on laid paper with watermark of double-headed eagle with letters "ID" and crozier, [cf. Hinterding's subvariant C.a.a], platemark 157 x 135 mm (6 1/8 x 5 1/4 in), upper edge reinforced verso with archival tissue, small repair to perforation within centre of window door, and small abrasion to the lady's face, further expert repair to small loss at lower right edge (unframed)
