Le Carré (John) Call for the Dead, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author to Clive Hirschhorn on title, spot to outer margin of text, neat ink ownership inscription dated 1962 and small spot to endpaper, Hirschhorn's neat pencil purchase notes to front pastedown, original boards, dust-jacket, spine ends and corners a little chipped, light surface soiling, an excellent example overall, preserved in custom drop-back box, 8vo, 1961.
