Rudaux, bound in later green morocco elaborately tooled in gilt, by Huser, covers with all over design of six rows of five oval wreaths in gilt, each containing a small rose in alternating red and white morocco, the whole within two triple gilt fillet borders, spine in compartments with title and rose & wreath in gilt and five raised bands, apricot silk doublures and flyleaves, turn-ins of multiple gilt rules and rolls of small dots, signed at foot of front turn-in, original wrappers bound in, g.e., preserved in green morocco-backed card chemise (spine faded) and board slip-case with sides of vellum, 8vo (binding c.195 x 130mm.), Paris, 1886.
