Engraving, 1555, a good impression on laid paper without watermark, 112 x 79 mm (4 1/2 x 3 in), trimmed within the platemark, some light cockling, surface dirt (unframed)
Together with a good group of 8 engravings after prints by Lucas van Leyden (c. 1494-1533), including two 16th century impressions that bear the collector's stamp of James Stanley, 10th Earl of Derby (1664-1733) [L. 720a], four works by Jan Georg van Vliet (c. 1600-1668), a slightly weak impression of Abraham Hogenberg's (fl. 1590-1656) 'Christ before Pilate', after Hendrik Goltzius, and another, engravings, various sizes, unframed (15)
