Cervantès Saavedra (Miguel de) El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quixote de la Mancha, 4 vol., Nueva Edición, corregida por la Real Academia Española, 4 engraved additional titles after Antonio Carnicero by Fernando Selma, portrait of the author, folding map with route outlined in red, and 30 plates only (of 31, lacking 1 plate in vol.3) after Barranco, Brunette, Carnicero, Del Castillo, Ferro, and Gil by Ballester, Barcelon, Fabregat, Gil, Mol, Muntaner, Salvador y Carmona, and Selam, engraved initials, head- and tail-pieces, occasional light foxing, vol. 2 with some dampstaining to lower margin at start, vol.3 with light dampstaining to lower corner towards end, ink inscriptions to vol.1 endpaper, letter tipped onto vol.1 endpaper, contemporary Spanish tree sheep, gilt, spines gilt in compartments with red morocco labels, some bumping to corners, g.e., 4to, Madrid, Joaquín Ibarra, 1780.
