⁂ The first is the one shilling (?now preferable) printed wrapper version, for 2s. it came in cloth with gilt edges. A rare survivor, by 1864 it had grown to 723 pages, and it stayed in print for over fifty years. There were various editions of the second work dated 1852, '53 & '54. This undated edition does not have the folding plate or map seen in others.
