Wilde (Oscar) Sixteen Letters from Oscar Wilde, edited by John Rothenstein, one of 550 copies, 4 plates, including 2 caricatures by Max Beerbohm, bookplate and ownership signature of Ronald Fuller, original cloth, t.e.g., others uncut, preserved in drop-back cloth box, 4to, 1930.
⁂ The bookplate, depicting a cloaked skeleton flanked by a devil, Medusa and two cherubs, was designed by Rex Whistler. It is illustrated as plate 1 in Brian North Lee's Bookplate Designs of Rex Whistler, 1973. Ronald Fuller wrote the bibliography of Whistler, The Work of Rex Whistler, 1960, with Laurence Whistler.
