Bancroft (Richard) A Survay of the Pretended Holy Discipline, first edition, woodcut device and decoration on title, other woodcut decorations and initials, blank leaf E4 present, lower corner of title and next 2 leaves defective and repaired with loss to title imprint and some text on following leaves, extensive early ink annotations to title and on rear endpapers and occasionally in text, slight worming, mostly marginal but with occasional loss of text, some water-staining especially near beginning, bookplate of M.H. Bloxham, later endpapers, contemporary limp vellum, worn at spine head and repaired, later label, soiled, [STC 1352], 4to, by John Wolfe, 1593.
