Harding (Thomas) A Confutation of a Booke Intituled An Apologie of the Church of England, woodcut device on title with woodcut of Royal arms on verso, errata leaf at end, lacking final blank, occasional foxing, indecipherable contemporary ink inscription to title dated Nov. 22nd 1565, bookplate of M.H. Bloxham, later calf, gilt, rebacked and recornered, [STC 12762], 4to, Antwerp, Jhon Laet, 1565.
⁂ A reply to John Jewel's Apologia Ecclesiae Anglicanae. Rare at auction, with only one copy (1974, £120 to Weinreb) appearing in the last 50 years.
