Reynolds (Richard) A Chronicle of all the noble Emperours of the Romaines, from Julius Caesar, orderly to this moste victorious Emperour Maximilian that now governeth with the great warres of Julius Caesar et Pompeius Magnus, first edition, black letter, title within woodcut border, woodcut initials, medallion portraits, head- and tail-pieces, with final blank f., title laid down with fore-margin chipped and loss to outer corners, just affecting woodcut border at head, A8 and X6&7 with small hole with loss to 2 or 3 letters of text, N2 and D4&5 with loss to upper corner affecting fol. number, wormhole running through later gatherings, marginal dampstaining and some fraying to corners, ink inscription to title, binder's waste used for rear endpaper, contemporary vellum, a little soiled, front endpapers renwed, [STC 20926], small 4to, by Thomas Marshe, 1571.
