Boothby (Francis) Marcelia : or the Treacherous Friend, first edition, woodcut initials and headpieces, title browned and rather soiled, title and A2 mounted on stubs, small rust hole to D4, light foxing, 20th century morocco-backed cloth, [Wing B3742], small 4to, for Will. Cademan at the Popes-Head in the lower walk of the New-Exchange, and Giles Widdowes at the Maidenhead in Aldersgate-street, 1670.
⁂ Scarce first edition of the first play by a woman to be produced in London, performed at the Theatre Royal in 1669.
