Leo X (Pope, born Giovanni di Lorenzo de' Medici, 1475-1521) Papal bull addressed to the archbishop of Santiago di Compostella, the bishop of Zamora and the treasurer of Zamora cathedral, ordering an investigation into the claims of Alonso Pimentel, Count of Benavente to rights of ecclesiastical presentation in the diocese of Astorga, Spain, manuscript on vellum, 1 page, 21 lines, lead bulla of Leo X attached on cords, in fine condition, 370 x 235mm., Rome, St. Peter's, 6th February 1514.
