Witchcraft.- Perkins (William) A Discourse of the Damned Art of Witchcraft, so farre as it is revealed in the Scriptures, and manifest by true experience, second edition, title within double-rule border with small woodcut decoration, woodcut initials and headpieces, 4ff. contents at end, some occasional light soiling, but a good, clean copy generally, ink inscription to title, upper corner of front free endpaper restored, catalogue description laid onto endpaper, bookplate to pastedown, contemporary reverse calf, sympathetically rebacked, corners repaired, [STC 19698], 8vo, Cambridge, Cantrel Legge, 1610.
⁂ Scarce. Originally delivered as a sermon before being published posthumously. Perkins here affirms the existence of pacts with the devil and urges death for convicted witches.
