Game.- Bowles & Carver, publishers. Bowles's Royal and Entertaining Game of the Goose, hand-coloured engraved sheet forming anti-clockwise spiral of 63 spaces around a central panel of rules and vignettes at corners and in some spaces including portraits of George III and Queen Charlotte, mounted on linen, c.550 x 440mm., contemporary ink inscription to "The Miss Bakers. Given them by their Affecte. Governess Louisa de ?Challet" at head of sheet, a little soiled and creased, folded in four, [cf.Whitehouse p.55], Bowles & Carver, [water-marked ?1818].
