Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) The Descent from the Cross: Second Plate, etching and engraving, 1633, a good but later impression of New Hollstein's eighth state (of eight) on chine collé, dark and evenly printed with Lamoureux's address in the lower right corner, platemark 526 x 408 mm. (20 3/4 x 16in), sheet 800 x 595 mm. (24 1/4 x 19 1/8in), the margins with some nicks and tears, particularly to upper right corner, toned with even browning, mainly marginal (unframed)
