Lady's ruby powder compact and lipstick holder, Boucheron Paris, 1940s

the compact and lipstick holder decorated to the front with a pierced design of butterflies amongst flowering vines, accented with collet-set rubies. The case opening to reveal a powder compartment. Signed Boucheron Paris, numbered, French assay marks, measuring approximately 7.5 x 7.5 x 1.4 cms., gross weight approximately 289 grams.
