Discursus politicus de polygamia, first edition, title with woodcut device, lightly browned, cropped with a few head-lines shaved, one or two leaves of first gathering poorly printed, old manuscript note to front free endpaper and printed note pasted in at end, later vellum, a little soiled, 12mo, Freiburg, Heinrich Cunrath, 1674.
⁂ Rare defence of polygamy, by a Lutheran minister. Two further (greatly enlarged) editions were published in 1676 and 1682, causing an outcry throughout Europe; it was subsequently banned.
