Du Choul (Guillaume) Discorso Sopra La Castrametatione et Disciplina Militare de Romani, 2 parts in 1, collation: Aa-Kk8; A-T8, numerous woodcuts within text, many in first part full-page, folding woodcut and letter-press plan, marginal worm trace to outer margin of ff. at end of part 1, occasionally just touching a printed side-note, some light browning, occasional spotting, later limp vellum, lacking ties, 4to (237 x 165mm.), Lyon, Guillaume Rouille, 1569.
⁂ The second part is Discorso della Religione Antica de Romani. A handsome production discussing the military and religious practices of the Romans. The woodcuts are attributed to Pierre Eskrich by Baudrier.
