Provenance.
A gift from the artist to the photographer Herb Ritts.
Acquired by the present owner from the estate of the above.
The present lot is one of only 13 works by Keith Haring which featured collage elements of Herb Ritts photographs. The works were produced for a joint exhibition at the Fay Gold Gallery, Atlanta GA in 1989 and was the work Haring personally chose to give to his friend and collaborator Herb Ritts.
