Description

A mid 20th century platinum Ceylon sapphire and diamond dress ring

the cuschion-shape sapphire, within a rose-cut diamond pierced lattice stylised floral surround. Accompanied by Gem Paris report n. 20151972252, December 2015, stating that the sapphire measures 8.5 by 7.7 by 5.4 mms, origin Sri Lanka (Ceylon), with no indications of modification or treatment. French assay marks. Weight 6.9 grams.
