⁂ A scarce Orwellian interest item. In December 1942 Orwell told George Woodcock "I am trying to get some of our b'casts for the Indian section published in book form. If this goes through you may see from the book that our b'casts, though of course much as all radio stuff is, aren't as bad as they might be..." (Fenwick p.165.)
