Greene (Graham) The Power and the Glory, first edition, browning to endpapers and half title, original cloth, shelf-lean, covers mottled, dust-jacket, spine browned, spine ends and corners a little chipped, small portion of loss and closed tear to top corner of upper panel, light browning to lower panel and flaps, red staining to lower panel, light rubbing and some creasing to extremities, 8vo, 1940.
⁂ Scarce in the dust-jacket, much of the first edition stock was destroyed when Heinemann's warehouse was bombed during the war.
