Opera, 2 vol., first edition, first issue, with 'Potes' on p.108 of vol.2, engraved throughout with frontispieces, vignette titles, dedications, lists of subscribers, portraits & illustrations (some full-page) and numerous head- & tail-pieces and initials, additional portrait of Pine after Hogarth bound in at start, the usual offsettting, some spotting, handsome contemporary red crushed morocco, gilt, spine in compartments and with green and red morocco labels, restored by Flora Ginn, vol.1 spine ends a little nicked, vol.2 1 corner little worn, both vol. some marking and rubbed at extremities, g.e., [Cohen-de Ricci 498; Ray, England p.3; Rothschild 1548], an attractive set, 8vo, John Pine, 1733-1737.
