Gillray (James) The Works... from the Original Plates, with the Addition of Many Subjects Not Before Collected, 2 vol., including the vol. of "Suppressed Plates", vol. 1 with large woodcut vignette on title, engraved frontispiece portrait, and 586 etched plates (numbered 1-582, with starred additional plates including nos. 86, 100, 207, 379, 379** and 379***, and without plate 238 as issued), vol. 2 with 45 numbered plates, scattered spotting and surface dirt throughout, notably to earlier pages and title in vol. 1, the "Supplementary" vol. slightly cleaner, both with some small marginal nicks and losses, one leaf slightly detached from vol. 1., contemporary half red morocco, marbled covers, g.e., spine gilt in compartments with black morocco label, scuffed and worn, folio, Henry G. Bohn, [1847-1851]
