The artist created this print for Whitechapel Gallery, and depicts the gallery's director Iwona Blazwick. It is part of a larger series by the artist in which she incorporates a photograph from the subject's personal archive, taken between the ages of sixteen and twenty-two. She then alters the photo using her unique aesthetic in order to create subversion in the form of feelings of lightness and tactility, which is present in portraits across her oeuvre.
