Europe.- Italia, 2 vol., albums of c.350 vintage photographic prints and plates predominantly showing architecture and art, many photographic prints captioned in the negative, each pasted to thick card leaves, contemporary cream calf, titled in gilt, borders inlaid with red and olive morocco, richly decorated in gilt, richly gilt spines, oblong folio, c.1900.
⁂ Very handsome scrap albums that appear to have been put together during a 'Grand Tour' of Europe during the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. The albums include images and illustrations from Switzerland, Germany and Italy with the majority of images depicting Italy.
