Africa.- Ward (Rowland, publisher) Great and Small Game of Africa, one of 500 copies signed by publisher, half-title, 15 hand-coloured lithographs with uniform light browning, captioned tissue-guards, illustrations, title repaired at margins and laid-down, ink-stamp to title verso partially erased, occasional light finger soiling, 4B2 with short tear at gutter just touching text, modern green morocco by Atkinsons, gilt, [Czech p.25-6], 4to, 1899.
⁂ This copy is inscribed "The Mombasa Club. with A. Neumann's salaams," above a newspaper illustration showing a chimpanzees' tea party. Arthur Henry Neumann was a contributor to this book.
