Ovidius Naso (Publius) Metamorphoses in Latin and English..., edited by Abbot Banier, 2 vol. in 1, half-title, engraved allegorical frontispiece after Picart, titles in red & black with engraved vignettes, engraved coat-of-arms to dedication, 3 engraved plates with 2 illustrations on each by Folkema after Lebrun, and 124 engraved illustrations after Picart, Lebrun and others, very occasional browning but a good clean copy, modern calf with roll-tooled border in blind, spine gilt in compartments with red morocco label, [Cohen-de Ricci 768], large folio, Amsterdam, Wetsteins & Smith, 1732.
