President of the Royal Society: This Plan of the Cities of London and Westminster and Borough of Southwark, with the Contiguous Buildings, reduction of Rocque's monumental 24-sheet map of Georgian London, showing from Knightsbridge to Islington, and Stepney Green to what is now modern day Elephant & Castle, engraving, on two sheets of laid paper without watermarks, conjoined, total platemark 515 x 930 mm (20 1/4 x 36 1/2 in), sheet 568 x 950 mm (20 1/4 x 36 1/2 in), repaired tear to the upper left margin, other smaller repaired tears to the right edge, minor handling creases, unframed, John Pine and John Tinney, 1749
