India.- Patna School (circa 1830) An album with ten sheets of Indian character studies of musicians and dancers, watercolours, heightened with white, on various wove papers with indistinct watermarks, each sheet approx. 200 x 315 mm (7 7/8 x 12 1/4 in), tipped onto album leaves, some surface dirt with glue adhesive marks visible, minor spotting and handling creases, some leaves missing with stubs remaining, original half roan, half roan lettering pieces on the covers, the upper with the title, the lower with the name of the owner 'Mrs Baldock', spine with splits and losses, scuffed and very worn, oblong folio, 1830
