Virgilius Maro (Publius) The Thirteene Bookes of Aeneidos..., translated by Thomas Phaer & Thomas Twyne, woodcut printer's device to title, woodcut headpieces and decorative initials, black letter, lacking final blank, small ink marking to foot of title and very occasional passage-marking, V1 tiny rust-hole within text, trimmed with loss to some headlines and printed side-notes and many signatures/catchwords, very occasionally trimmed into last line of text, few small marginal defects, occasional spotting or staining, including some ink-staining to final few ff., browning, ex-library copy with bookplate and small ink-stamp to title, upper hinge broken, later vellum, library sticker to spine foot, soiled, [cf.
