Scottish Discourses and Sermons.- Schank or Shank (Martin, minister of Banchory, Aberdeenshire, married Margaret, daughter of Thomas Downie, Edinburgh merchant in 1697, father of Alexander Schank, of Castlerig, 1670-1747) A Practical Discourse, on Heaven [with] A Practical Discourse concerning the Accomplishment of the Promises on the first part of the Text, & on the Second a Discourse of our Pilgrimage in the World [with] Preparatis. Sermons..., small hole with loss of part of title, [with] [A Sermon concerning The Peace], together 4 works in 1 vol., manuscripts in two hands, ink inscription on front free endpaper, slightly browned throughout, engraved bookplate of Shank of Castlerigg on front pastedown, part of bookplate torn away, contemporary panelled calf, rubbed, corners worn, upper cover detached, sm. 4to, dated in text 1697, 1709 and 1710.
