Egan (Pierce) The Life of an Actor, first edition, hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece and 26 plates by and after Theodore Lane, illustrations, one or two plates with marginal foxing, lightly offset but generally clean, original pictorial boards with 2 vignettes to upper cover and 3 to lower, uncut, a little rubbed and soiled, spine torn and repaired, preserved in later cloth folder and drop-front box, slightly rubbed, [Abbey, Life 414; Tooley 195], 8vo, 1825.
