Steinbeck (John) The Short Reign of Pippin IV, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author to his sister "Mary | avec l'aimité | from John the XXII" on front free endpaper, original yellow and salmon blind-stamped cloth, dust-jacket, small rectangular strip cut from flap joint, spine ends very lightly frayed, overall still excellent, [Goldstone & Payne A36a], 8vo, 1957.
