Aure (Antoine Cartier d') Traite d'Equitation, first edition, half-title, lithograph frontispiece and 26 plates by Frey after Ledieu, all hand-coloured, wood-engraved illustrations, errata leaf at end, colour in a few plates oxidised, repairs to a few text leaves at end, some light foxing and offsetting, contemporary brown half roan, rubbed, head of spine nicked, [Bobins 1391; Nissen, ZBI 165], 4to, Paris, 1834.

⁂ Rare work by the riding master at the Ecole de Versailles and, later, Saumur.
