Presentation copy from Nelson's father.- [Common Book of Prayer], lacking title and several other ff., gatherings working loose, some fraying to later ff., ink gift inscription to endpaper "Miss Nelson of Burnham Thorpe the Gift of her Father the Revd. Edmd. Nelson Rector. A.D. 1775", contemporary morocco, worn, 12mo, [c.1775]; sold as an association copy and not subject to return.
⁂ Presented by the Reverend Edmund Nelson to one of his daughters, most likely to Catherine Nelson, who married George Matcham in 1787.
