Seneca (Lucius Annaeus) Opera quæ exstant, fine engraved portrait frontispiece and architectural title with portraits of Pallas, Hercules and others, and full-page portrait of Seneca, woodcut decorative initials and tail-pieces, colophon f. with large woodcut printer's device verso, repair to inner margin of half-title verso, one or two small wormholes to lower margins, lightly browned, prize f. from the Collège Mazarin bound in at start, contemporary calf with gilt arms of Cardinal Mazarin to covers, gilt spine in compartments, joints splitting, but holding firm, spine ends and corners worn, rubbed and scuffed, a handsomely printed edition of the works, folio, Antwerp, House of Plantin, 1614.
