Jean (Auguste, fl. 1800-1832), Publisher. Jugement Universel, engraving, with early hand-colouring, on thick wove paper without watermark, sheet 425 x 545 mm. (16 3/4 x 21 3/4 in), central vertical fold with small repairs to splitting visible verso, some handling creases and minor surface dirt, browning, unframed, published 'A Paris chez Jean, Rue St. Jean de Beauvais, No. 10, [early 19th century]; together with a set of Hogarth's 'Rake's Progress' and three others all on wove from 'The Works Of William Hogarth', circa 1796-97, and with ten of Richard Earlom's sepia mezzotints after paintings by Claude Lorrain, and 28 leaves, including a hand-coloured frontispiece, from Cox and Blome's 'The Gentlemans Recreation', engravings and etchings, various sizes, all unframed, 17th to 19th century, (approx. 50).
