Programmes and posters.- Programme for the first performance of Franco Zeffirelli's legendary production of Tosca at Covent Garden, with Maria Callas and Tito Gobbi, signed by Zeffirelli, Gobbi, Carlo Felice Cillario (conductor), Renato Cioni, Victor Godfrey and (by coincidence) Leslie Caron, 4 ticket stubs loosely inserted, original wrappers, 21 January, 1964; and a signed photograph of Tito Gobbi as Scarpia (1964); a Chicago Opera House programme of Maria Callas and Giuseppe di Stefano, signed by Callas, annotations in another hand indicating what was sung and in what order, with half an entrance ticket, original wrappers, March 2, 1974; and a 1965 programme for gala performance of Tosca at Covent Garden with Callas and Gobbi in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (4)
