Brazil.- Scott (Jonathan, orientalist) Autograph Letter to his father from HMS Prince of Wales off the coast of Brazil, 1769, including 2 rough sketches of Tenerrife and an account of the slave trade in the town of San Sebastian in Brazil.

Watchmaker.- Rogers (Isaac) Correspondence and documents relating to the clockmaker Isaac Rogers, comprising 6 letters reflecting the problems of trading with a foreign country and 10 invoices, chiefly from Smyrna and Constantinople, revealing the extent of Rogers trade with Turkey, 1781-1803 (16).

Broadley) Napoleon and the Invasion of England: The Story of the Great Terror, 3 vol., extra illustrated by the insertion of over c. 200 broadsides, manuscript documents, prints, maps, letters, engraved music scores, facsimiles, and ephemera, 18th - 20th centuries & 1908.

Napoleon.- Stopford Family.- Album containing a large quantity of autograph letters, manuscript material and ephemera relating to the naval Stopford family and descendants including Admiral William Kennedy, including: a five page manuscript written from Porto Serrayo, Elba, giving an eyewitness account of Napoleon during his time on Elba; autograph letter signed by George III 1804; autograph letter signed from Wellington etc., 19th century half morocco album, 1804-1913.

More (Hannah) 6 Autograph Letters signed to Jonathan Scott, 1813-15, on a variety of subjects including her and and her sister's health, the expense of buying books in the country, and a subscription for the poor; and 4 others (10).

Niger Expedition.- Peddie (John, Major) Collection of letters to the naturalist Adolphe Kummer relating to the unsuccessful expedition to the interior of Africa to discover the source of the Niger, Senegal, 1816 & 1821, discussing financial arrangements with Kummer for the expedition (16 pieces).
