[Swan (John)] Speculum Mundi. Or a Glasse Representing the Face of the World, second edition enlarged, title within typographic border, woodcut astronomical diagram to V3v, lacking initial blank and additional engraved title and final f. of Table at end, title browned and frayed at edges (no text loss) and with 18th century ink inscription to verso, ink notes to one or two other leaves, H6&7 with some scribbles in pencil, 2N1 with short closed tear to head and loss to lower outer corner not affecting text, some light damp-staining, light browning, modern half calf, spine gilt, [ESTC R23466; Wing S6238], small 4to, [Cambridge], Roger Daniel, 1643.

⁂ Mention of America at pp.226-227 and 258-260, the latter in connection with tobacco.
