Churchill (Sir Winston Spencer) The People's Rights, first edition, paperback issue, second state with p.71 correctly numbered and second Appendix at rear, half-title detached, first and last c.15 leaves brittle and frayed at margins, loss to corners of last few ff. a couple times affecting pagination, browned throughout as usual, original printed wrappers, some ink scribbles to foot of upper wrapper, spine chipped, wrappers chipped at edges with small loss and detached, housed in a drop-back box, [Woods A16], 8vo, Hodder and Stoughton, [1910].

⁂ First edition of this collection of campaign speeches printed after the Liberal success in the General Election of December 1909. Printed on cheap, acidic paper that deteriorated quickly, the work is often found in fragile condition.
